The Elephant is the fourth project in the Abstractions series. This foundation paper pieced quilt is made with one striking large scale block. 

Finished quilt measures 54" x 60". 

Instructions assume a knowledge of foundation paper piecing. If you are new to paper piecing or just want a thorough explanation of the construction of these blocks, please visit our Tutorials page. 

The download is a 37 page PDF file. 

The first two pages are the full color instruction booklet that should be printed on 11" x 17" paper. 

The following 35 pages are templates to be printed at 100% on 11" x 17" paper. Templates can be printed in black & white and should be printed on a dark enough setting to capture all of the detailed information on the templates. 

Most home printers WILL NOT PRINT 11" x 17" paper. We recommend Staples and the average cost is under $5.
