The Honeycomb Abstractions Quilt
The Honeycomb Abstractions Quilt is a vibrant play on the backyard honeycomb surrounded by colors and flowers and joy. The quilt is easily adjusted in size by adding or removing columns and rows. The entire quilt (blocks and background and sashing) are foundation paper pieced and assembled in columns enhancing the geometric order of nature.
Yardage requirements and layout instructions are included for baby, throw, and full/queen sizes.

The download is a PDF file containing 18 pages. For best results print the first 4 instructional pages in color on 8.5” x 11” paper. Instructions within the pattern determine how many copies of the template pages need to be made. Print the template pages in grayscale on a dark enough setting to retain all details. Template pages are 8.5” x 11” and 8.5” x 14”.

Templates will need to be copied before use on 8.5” x 11” and 8.5” x 14” paper. Precopied templates are available for purchase in the options.

A set of three templates to easily cut the half hexagons and sashing for the Honeycomb Abstractions Quilt. These handy templates are cut from sturdy blue transparent acrylic to ease cutting and for fussy cutting. Seam allowances are marked on the templates. Use the fabric pieces cut from the templates with the foundation papers of the pattern or traditionally piece without the paper. These templates are a huge time saver and allow for aligning prints perfectly.
The Honeycomb Quilt Kit in Modern Classics warm colors includes everything needed to make the throw size Honeycomb Quilt top. Fabrics included are 1/6 yards of the the Modern Classics warm colors , Kona White sashing, Modern Classics Haystack in Natural background, 9 Kona solids used for the Bees, Sunflowers and Leaves, and the pattern.
The Honeycomb pre-copied templates on standard 20# copy paper may be added to the bundle in the options.
