Let's make a tree skirt! This is a small group format with only six students per class.

Location: Craft Pour House, 16055 SW Regatta Lane Suite 700, Beaverton, OR 97006

Class Date & Time: Saturday, October 11 and Sunday, October 12 from 9am-noon.

Doors open for setup: 8:40am

Show & Tell Gathering: Saturday, October 25, 4-5pm

In this confident-beginner level class, we will focus on achieving perfect points with Foundation Paper Piecing and the construction of the Atomic Starburst Tree Skirt.

Class 1: Explore all things Foundation Paper Piecing (FPP) and the Violet Craft Foundation Paper Piecing method using the Atomic Starburst block pattern. Homework will be assigned :)

Class 2: Assemble the tree skirt and revisit any questions from the first class.

Includes a casual followup Show & Tell gathering for both classes to see what we’ve done, ask and answer more questions and socialize!

• Each student will have their own table and power strip.

• Bring your own sewing machine.

• Notions needed: sewing machine, pattern, fabric, thread, cutting mat, rotary cutter, 12” quilting ruler, snips or scissors

• Notions on hand for purchase: rotary cutting mats, Wonderfil Decobob 80wt poly thread, Violet Craft Seam Roller, Add-A-Quarter Plus ruler, seam rippers, thread snips, scissors, Atomic Starburst Acrylic Template sets

• One ironing station will be provided (I don’t iron… you’ll see :)

• No outside irons are allowed.

• Purchase of the Atomic Starburst Tree Skirt pattern is required.

• Pre-copied templates on my preferred 20# copy paper will be provided as part of the class fee

• Kits can be found here. Purchases can be shipped ahead of time or brought to class for you. Choose the pickup option Bring to October Class at checkout. Kits are not required.
