The Diamond Divide Quilt plays along with my favorite modern quilt and midcentury style. The quilt is constructed of foundation paper pieced diamond templates and traditionally pieced columns to bring it together. This is a quick and easy project! Fabric used on cover is Violet Craft Moder Classics by Robert Kaufman Fabrics.

Instructions assume a knowledge of foundation paper piecing. If you are new to paper piecing or just want a thorough explanation of the construction of these blocks, please visit our Tutorials page.

The download is a PDF file containing 5 pages. For best results print the first 4 instructional pages in color on 8.5” x 11” paper. Page 5 contains the template. Print 20 copies of the template page in grayscale on a dark enough setting to retain all details. Template pages are 8.5” x 14”, also known as legal size paper. Legal size paper can be purchased at most office supply stores and will print from most home printers.
