The Giraffe is the next project in the Abstractions series. This foundation paper pieced quilt is made with one striking large scale block. 

Finished quilt measures 44" x 60". 

Fabric used on cover is Cotton Couture by Michael Miller Fabrics. 

 Instructions assume a knowledge of foundation paper piecing. If you are new to paper piecing or just want a thorough explanation of the construction of these blocks, please visit our Tutorials page. 

The download is a ZIP folder containing two files. 

The first file is the  full color instruction booklet that should be printed on standard 8.5" x 11" paper. 

The second file contains 24 pages of templates to be printed at 100% on 11" x 17" paper. Templates can be printed in black & white and should be printed on a dark enough setting to capture all of the detailed information on the templates. 

Most home printers WILL NOT PRINT 11" x 17" paper. We recommend Staples and the average cost is under $5.   

THIS IS FOR A PDF DOWNLOAD. For a paper pattern, please inquire at your local quilt shop. This file is not compatible for download to mobile devices such as iPads, smartphones or other tables; it must be downloaded to a laptop or desktop computer.
