The Raffia Weave Quilt is a fun way to use those cute pre-cut strip rolls. Instructions are included for foundation paper piecing -OR- traditional piecing: quilter’s choice!

Both methods can use a 1.5” or 2.5” wide rollup or your own choice of (36) 1.5” x WOF (width of fabric) strips and 4 yards of fabric for the background. Six fabrics use 2 strips.

Finished Size: 60” x 60”

Fabric used for cover quilt is Betty’s Luncheonette by Violet Craft for Robert Kaufman Fabrics. Background is Essex Yarn Dyed from Robert Kaufman Fabrics.

The download is a PDF file containing 9 pages with the template on the last page. For best results print the first 8 instructional pages in color and the last page in grayscale. 

If foundation paper piecing, you will need to make 72 copies of the template. Instructions assume a knowledge of foundation paper piecing.
